Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Mohamed Mahomed Seeing Patients in El Dorado

On Dec. 17, fellowship-trained total joint and orthopaedic trauma surgeon Mohamed Mahomed, M.D., will begin seeing patients at Kansas Joint & Spine Specialists’ outreach clinic in El Dorado on Tuesday mornings at 700 W. Central Ave., Suite 105. Starting Jan. 7, he will add Wednesday afternoons to his available hours in El Dorado. As part of the dedication shared by all members of Kansas Joint & Spine Specialists to provide the highest level of orthopaedic treatment to the greater region, Mahomed will be available in El Dorado to offer patients advanced care for a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Additionally, Mahomed sees patients in Wichita at the practice's East location, 10100 E. Shannon Woods Circle, Suite 100, and West location, 750 N. Socora, Suite 200, as well as in Scott City at Scott County Hospital, 201 Albert Ave. 

As a fellowship-trained total joint replacement and arthroscopic knee surgeon, Mahomed’s expertise includes a wide variety of advanced procedures and techniques. He offers experienced, specialized consultation and care in the following areas:

After receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, Mahomed completed an internship in general and orthopaedic surgery at the Michael Garron Hospital, also in Toronto. He received his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Toronto as well as his advanced total joint and general orthopaedic fellowship training. Following his fellowship, Mahomed received further specialty training with an additional fellowship in arthroplasty and adult reconstruction at the University of Bern in Switzerland.
