Kansas Joint & Spine Specialists Celebrates Derby Expansion with Ribbon Cutting and Community Open House

The Wichita Eagle recently spotlighted the practice's expansion into Derby, highlighting what the move means for patients across south-central Kansas and the surrounding rural communities. Administrator Stefanie Harper shared that better access to care for patients traveling from areas like Ark City, Mulvane, and Douglas was a driving force behind the decision to open the new location.

The Derby clinic, located at 1101 North Rock Road, Suite 300, has been open since December and offers the same comprehensive orthopaedic services patients have come to expect from the Wichita location, including spine care, joint replacement, sports medicine, and physical therapy access next door.

To celebrate the completion of construction and welcome the Derby community, Kansas Joint & Spine Specialists hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on Monday, April 13, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Derby clinic.

“We’re proud to be part of the Derby community and to expand access to high-quality orthopaedic care in a convenient location,” said Dr. Justin Strickland, sports medicine surgeon at Kansas Joint & Spine Specialists. “This event was a chance for us to connect with the community, answer questions and show people what they can expect when they walk through our doors.”
